Bred by the British artist Cedric Morris, who was a member of the famous “Bloomsbury set” frequented by Virginia Woolf, amongst others.This iris is said to have been named by Elizabeth, the Queen Mother (mother of Queen Elizabeth II), whose own mother was the Countess of Strathmore. It is a warm peachy pink with a coral beard. Rare and beautiful. Limited stock.
