The lavender blue flower is very similar to the species, Iris Pallida, but slightly darker and the stems are significantly more slender and elegant in form. This came from an old garden in England and researches this year identified it as "Gertrude" (1907, Peterson). See our blog post on this. Lovely as a mass planting.
